Like i do say and I'll keep on saying "An Android Device Without Root Access Is Not Yet A Complete Android". A rooted Android gives its user an Administrative power over its smartphone as it enables its user have total control over its Android when rooted. There are many things to gain after rooting.
In this article, I will be guiding you on how to root your Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE SHV-E300K (running on android 5.0.1, built id LRX22C.E300KKTUGOJ3) using Odin on Windows Computer/ PC.
→ Your Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE SHV-E300 on 5.0.1 OS.
→ Your battery should be atleast 50-70 percent.
Guide To Root Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE SHV-E300K On 5.0.1 Os Using Odin
Before proceeding, your Samsung USB needed drivers must be installed on your PC for proper communication with your device. Download and Install Samsung USB Driver on your computer. If Samsung USB Driver is already installed on your
computer, Skip this Step and proceed.
Step 1 : Download and extract the root files to another folder on your computer. After extracting, you will be able to see the following files↓
Step 2: Now, Switch off your Smartphone completely.
Step 3: After switching-off the phone, you need to boot into Download Mode. To boot into download mode, Press and hold Volume Down + Home and Power button at same time for 5-8 seconds until download mode is active.
Step 4: In the Download Mode, you will be able to see a Warning Yellow Triangle Sign . In this situation you have to press the Volume Up key to continue .
Step 5: Now, Open Odin3 (found in the extracted files, that you must have downloaded in the Step #1 ) on your computer. Then connect your Smartphone to the computer.
Step 6: Once you have connected your Smartphone to the computer, Odin will automatically recognize the device and show "Added" message at the lower-left panel.
Step 7: Now, once your device is detected by Odin, click on the "PDA" button and select the CF-Auto-Root.tar file (you have downloaded in step #1 ).
Step 8: Now, click on the Start button in Odin to begin the Flashing process.
Step 9: Flashing normally takes 30-50 seconds to complete the rooting process on your Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE SHV-E300K on 5.0.1.
- So, once Rooting process is completed, you will be able to see a Green Box with Pass written on it in Odin.
- During this process, your Smartphone will re-boot automatically.
Step 10: Once you see, the Pass message in Odin, you can now disconnect your Device from the computer/ PC
Now, to ensure you have successfully rooted your Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE SHV-E300K on 5.0.1, simply open Applications Menu on your Smartphone to find SuperSU App.
If this app exist on your Smartphone then it means you have successfully rooted your device. To further confirm its rooted, download and install rooted checker to verify.
