Once the biggest and best-known mobile phone manufacturer, following some tough competition from iPhone and Android Nokia in 2011 made the fatal mistake of agreeing to produce only Windows phones. In 2014 it packed up its mobile phone game and sold its business to Microsoft. Fast-forward to 2017, and with Android onboard, this could be the Nokia comeback we’ve been waiting for or should i say “Nokia Resurrection”

The Nokia 8 or Nokia 9 is what’s expected to be the upcoming Nokia flagship, which will run the Snapdragon 835 processor. However, a tip-off suggests rather than it being a case of either/or, we could see both a Nokia 8 and a Nokia 9 with two flagship Nokia Android phone launches.

According to the source, one of the two handsets will be a full metal unibody phone with dual cameras. The key difference between the two will be the size of the screen. This is demonstrated by another leak reported by NokiaPowerUser that shows the Nokia 8 with dual cameras and a physical fingerprint reader. The supposed Nokia 9 which loses the fingerprint sensor to the rear while sporting a near bezelless design.

Although the partnership between Zeiss and Nokia was thought to be no more, Nokia has confirmed it was talking only about its current range (the Nokia 3, 5 and 6) when it said Nokia phones will not use Carl Zeiss optics. And that’s great news for the upcoming Nokia 8.
